While West Ham United is negotiating with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) for Carlos Soler, Nottingham Forest is keen on signing James Ward-Prowse. The Stratford club wants to sell Ward-Prowse for £25 million. The midfielder had joined West Ham for £30 million from Southampton.

Nottingham Forest fans want the club to sign Ward-Prowse, 29, to help the team finish mid-table. The West Bridgford-based club sees the footballer as a creative box-to-box midfielder. Moreover, he has a lot of experience playing in the Premier League. Ward-Prowse is regarded for his free-kick quality. He made 381 appearances, scored 56 goals, and 45 assists. Fans are eager to have the star footballer in Nottingham Forest.

According to Football Insider, West Ham does not find Ward-Prowse instrumental. Julen Lopetegui has been disgruntled with the midfielder’s poor consistency and performance. Ward-Prowse has had only 16 minutes of the game so far this season. He was left out of West Ham’s opener games against Aston Villa and Crystal Palace.
