Many woke up to memes on microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) about Kylian Mbappe endorsing Cristiano Ronaldo over Lionel Messi and jabs at Manchester United. This dishevel is all because Mbappe’s X account was hacked.

The hack also sent crypto investors on a buying spree the target being a so-called $MBAPPE. This meme coin saw a sudden surge. It also fell hard. As such, a crypto investor reportedly lost over $1 million in just an hour. The hacker took hold of the star footballer’s social media account and used it to promote the dubious meme coin $MBAPPE. The cryptocurrency gained popularity, witnessed a surge in investors, and in time crashed.

This happened within minutes of the price surge. The hack also sent Mbappe’s followers and fans into a social media meme fest.

Fans Not Happy With Kylian Mbappe

Meanwhile, Mbappe is under pressure to score goals and make some needed noise for Real Madrid. He made a high-profile move from Paris Saint-Germain and expectations have been set very high for the forward.
