Despite having star players like Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane, England football has announced Cole Palmer as the Men’s Player of the Year 2023-24. He was voted Three Lions’ fans’ stand-out player with Jude Bellingham coming in second and Bukayo Saka third, respectively.
Palmer, 22, made his debut during England vs. Malta at Wembley Stadium in November 2023. He made five appearances at the UEFA EURO 2024 tournament in Germany. Palmer, who also plays for Chelsea FC as a winger, scored for England in the EURO 2024 final against Spain.
The young footballer has 22 Premier League goals for the 2023-24 season in his kitty and six goals in seven games for the 2024-25 season so far. Palmer is commended for his form and fitness. Former England striker Gary Lineker believes that of all the talented players England have got, Palmer might be the best of the lot.
