The Reds are closing in on Federico Chiesa and are likely to sign him into a four-year contract, with negotiations on full speed with Juventus. Chiesa’s contract with the Italian FC expires at the season’s end. He is valued at €15 million.

With the Reds losing interest in the Uruguayan forward, Arsenal has shown interest in him. Arsenal is looking for an offensive before the market closes and Nunez is exactly what it wants. Speculations of differences between Liverpool and Nunez are going around. He has been a starter in the Reds’ early matches of the season.

Moreover, the forward has been criticized for failing to help the team in crucial moments. And this has fed rumors about his uncertainty in Liverpool. As such, Arsenal is keen on signing Nunez, 25.  The Premier League club under Mikel Arteta’s management wants to cash in on him and is willing to make a significant offer.

Word is that Liverpool is set to demand £73 million + for the star offensive. But this is not likely to deter Arsenal as it will rope in Nunez before the transfer window closes.
