Paris Olympics: Hockey Quarterfinals Schedule (India To Face Britain On August 4), And Time In IST. India was part of Pool B with teams Belgium, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand and Argentina. The team, led by Harmanpreet Singh, is now set to face Britain in the hockey quarterfinals on August 4 at the Paris Olympics 2024.
Singh is determined to win gold for India at the Paris Olympics. He said the team is giving their all to bring glory to India. If India breezes through the quarterfinals, semis, and the final, it will be the men’s hockey team’s 9th gold medal at the Olympics after 44 years. The men’s hockey team won its last gold medal in the 1980 Moscow Olympics.

The team captain said the main tournament is starting now, with India vs. Great Britain. He highlighted that the quarterfinals and semi-finals are very crucial. Singh, who played his 100th international match against Australia, said they will give their best. He added that the boys started the tournament by winning and will finish with a win.
