Team India Squad For T20I Series Against Bangladesh Has Been Announced: The BCCI has confirmed the Indian team for the upcoming T20I series of three matches against Bangladesh, which starts October 6th. Suryakumar Yadav has been appointed as the captain for this series. Many new names have been included in the squad, giving chances to the young talents.
A notable feature of the team is that it includes Mayank Yadav, a young fast bowler who is joining the Indian side for the very first time. Likewise, Varun Chakaravarthy returns to the national side after being out of favour since the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. The team management also stands firmly behind wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson, while Ishan Kishan has been omitted from the squad.
Other notable players in the squad include Rinku Singh, who has earned nasty reviews for his performance in the domestic shapes and the IPL, and Abhishek Sharma, too a potential rising star. All-rounders in the shape of Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dube are likely to be key players, as they will help in achieving the balance of this side. The spin department is further cushioned by the addition of Ravi Bishnoi and Washington Sundar, whereas the pace bowling will be led by Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana.

The series is scheduled to be played in Gwalior, Indore, and Rajkot, and the venues chosen are ideal as they provide many of India’s talent pools a chance to showcase their skills in preparation for the other series and tournaments that are to come later on.
